"If you hate us so much, why are you here? We have no plans on going back to your mad tribe, so why stay here with people you clearly hate?" Branchwalker couldn't help but ask wasp as she moved to leave. "And why do you hate animals?" Not that she'd used the word 'hate' but it was how it sounded like to him. To think of animals only as food was horrific to Branchwalker. "What is wrong with you?" He'd meant to shout it, but it came out more as a scared whisper. ~**Thank you for trying to handle her,**~ he managed to lock-send to Evening-Fall despite being near frozen in fear. Wasp's hostility triggered many unpleasant, not too distant memories. He longed to call out to Dawngazer or Sunsleaf , but Sunsleaf had patients to tend to and Dawngazer had gone to fetch water. Thus, he ended up standing frozen in place, too scared and tired to think clearly.

"I will find her for you," Longsong reassured One-Edge. Keeping up the close contact of sending was becoming too much, with his own and One-Edge's exhaustion and pain only feeding each other. That, and Longsong didn't want to reavel just how scared he was for her. "I'll take her to her cubs, then find you some warm furs to rest on. Close your eyes and go to sleep, lifemate." Hurrying to stand it didn't take Longsong too much effort to spot Softpaws, now that people were settling down and forming smaller groups. He only had half an ear to pay attention with to the hostility coming from Wasp, so focused was he on One-Edge's pain and Softpaws'...oh High Ones. "Someone help me over here!" Longsong shouted as he knelt next to Softpaws. He couldn't tell what wounds she might have, the lot of them being dirty and bruised from the long flight, but it was clear she was having trouble breathing. "Someone help! I-, I don't know how to help her." OOC: Tag anyone with medical knowledge who might be able to help Softpaws

Childwolf kept his teeth bared as he watched Wasp leave. He was too tired to fight, but he made sure to place himself between her and the children. "Foamsick badgermole," he grumbled at her, low under his breath. He didn't know what to do with her words - they seemed pure madness to him, making no sense. ~**I am unharmed, just tired,**~ Firecry sent back to Cloudshadow. His legs ached terribly, which he couldn't hide from his sending, but it was also clear he was not mortally injured - only bruises and tired muscles. ~**Do you think the others will be upset if we go to sleep?**~ There seemed to be fighting, but Firecry didn't have the energy to pay attention as there seemed to be only words exchanged. Haze and Treebreeze finished sorting through what dried food they had access to and gathered around the cubs (both wolf and elfin), shielding them from Wasp. Greyspear too did, but chose not to speak up. There would need to be a confrontation with Wasp, yes, but this was not the moment, with most of them unable to stand. And they had more important things to deal with: " Sunsleaf, it is good if you can aid Cloudbird. Who can aid Softpaws?" He had made his way over to Longsong and knelt next to Softpaws, gently feeling the wolves' ribs. None he'd noticed thus far had been broken, thankfully. OOC: It's up to you Sasa how injured Softpaws is.

If looks could kill, Branchwalker would be dead by the hatefilled glare Wasp shot him. “I did not choose to join you and your fleeridden tribemates”, she hissed. If Tracker had not pulled rank and had ordered her to, she had just as happily killed as much of these elves as she could, alongside her tribemates. But they didn’t need to know that she was obliged to listen to the old man.
