Personality: As nights pass after the troll attack, Bloodmane is gradually stopping to be consumed by her thirst for revenge. By no means has she given up - she will fight to free her captured tribemates and avenge her family one day - but she's starting to focus more on surviving for the sake of the future of her tribe instead of getting a chance to kill every single troll she can find. In the process, the old Sunset - empathic and caring - is starting to resurface more and more. Even though the memories of her lost family don't leave her for a single day and she often has to remind herself to focus on the good things, every now and then she can genuinely enjoy the life in the moment, just like in old times.
Bloodmane is and always has been very bent on making her own decisions and thinking things out on her own, and can be very stubborn once she sets her mind on something. Nowadays she has very low tolerance for stupidity and/or ignorance, and tends to be more wary of strangers and new situations than before. She has also learned that sometimes one just can't afford to be nice and diplomatic, and can appear very emotionless and harsh when the situation demands it.
Whereas Sunset was completely honest with her friends, Bloodmane has developed a bad habit of hiding things, especially if she thinks she's making the chances of tribe's survival worse. Another topic she absolutely won't discuss is the loss of her family and how she's coping with it. Perhaps for this reason she has quickly grown to like Sunsleaf's company more than that of many of her remaining tribemates.
Likes: not sure, she's lost everything she loved; enjoys those little everyday moments when she can keep her hands and mind busy on some task or another
Dislikes: dwelling on the fact that her family is dead, uncertain situations; hates trolls with passion and would like to eradicate all trolls down to the very last child

History: Sunset was independent and interested in many things even as a cub. Her mother was a tanner and she soon learned the craft, becoming a a full-fledged tanner and not just an apprentice in a few decades. She also loved hunting and woodlore, both of which she first learned from her father. As her skills exceeded what Blade could teach, she sought as her teacher Arrowflash, one of the best hunters in the tribe, and later became also his equal hunting companion - and a sort of rival, as Arrowflash wanted to be the best in everything and Sunset refused to lose to him.
Sunset's life was for the most part quite ordinary - hunting, howling and having fun with lots of friends. She never really chose a lasting lovemate, but her den was always open to anybody interested. Some relationships stayed on the level of occasional joining, some were a bit more.
At the age of 247, she Recognized Arrowflash during a hunt. At first Arrowflash ran away, but two days later came to her den and they fulfilled the demands of Recognition. Although they often argued and almost always had some sort of competition going on, after all they fell in love with each other and lifemated before their cub – who was named Firesoul – was born. Raising Firesoul was the happiest time of Sunset's life. As to lifemating, it wasn't perfect - they had their arguments every now and then, but sooner or later one or the other would apologize - but then again, few things in life are.
All her family – including her mate and cub – was killed in the troll attack. Sunset survived, although she received a long wound running across her upper back that left a scar. Afterwards she cut her hair, changed her name to Bloodmane and swore to survive to take her revenge, no matter what or how long it would take.
