EDIT: The wolf-bondings will start to happen once we're all back in the woods. I'll let you know with a note in-game when you can start bonding with wolves (though you don't all have to do it at the exact same time).
Bloodmane - cub of Softpaws & Stronglegs (gender & name still undecided)
ChildWolf - Windrunner, 12, male, Beta
Eveningsky - Bluefang, 8 , female, Mid
Haze - Copperears, 16, male, Mid
Longsong - Lonehowl, 4, female, Low
Quicksand - cub of Softpaws & Stronglegs (gender & name still undecided)
Redstreak - cub of Softpaws & Stronglegs (gender & name still undecided)
Silvereyes - cub of Softpaws & Stronglegs (Fefe wished for female and named Sootstepper - anyone who adopted Silvereyes may change this if they wish)

May we say what our cub looks like? Or is it pre-set looks for all the cubs? Grey wolf = Grey cubs, etc...? Do we get to name them too? Just wondering since it's my first time having a cub here. Or do you have ideas about this already?

If I knew how to tag, I would.
Sofia, Fefe is still pending on your comment.
I forgot that E-S will bond with not-cub wolf. I have to make plans for the bonding to happen, as now is a good time for it.

I must have written an answer to someone else on the topic at the Yahoo!Group :/ To tag someone, put an @ before their username. Everyone's username isn't always apparent, so you can see a list of them here. My username is for example "admin", even if my display name is "Sofia". May we say what our cub looks like? Terribly sorry for the wait @fefe4laughinglizard! Yes, you do get to decide everything about your lovely new bond-friend! Coat color, personality, quirks, it's all up to you

No worries on the long wait for a reply. It is no big deal since I figured it would happen when the storyline got back to this point for naming the pups. Tis all good. ^___~ wink BTW, thanks for the range and freedom in deciding the name and looks with our cubs. This should be fun.

Grey wolf doesn't always mean grey cubs. There are a range of greys, black, some lighter browns, and even full white can be possible. Add in that for a colored wolf a range of white markings or even dark markings can be possible as well.
For example, a lighter grey wolf could have a whiter undercarriage but have a darker splash on the back of the head that spreads down onto the shoulders, or even a darker stripe down the spine. There is a lot of variation in colors based on how the mothers and fathers genes combine and since there's no set way for genes to be divied up during cell division the variation can be wide ranging.

Sootstepper will be her name and I choose an unborn cub. Sootstepper since her legs will be black from claw to elbow or knee and her ears and tail are black like her muzzle and around the eyes too. I know I mentioned a name before for a cub but that is not in this thread and I like the look and name of this one. Her body fur is grey with walnut shell brown highlights and bright piercing gold eyes with black rings around each golden Iris. recently born (By the time I get to name her.)

Sootstepper is a really cute name! I'll add her gender and name to the list above I've schedualed the new bondings to happen after all the fleeing is done (when our elves reach the woods again), so all elves who're bonding will get to act out their bonds. It will take our elves a while to travel from the plains and back to the woods, thus the wolf pups will be old enough to bond when we get back there.
