Personality: Dawngazer's personality is like an endless mood swing; you never know how she'll react, which makes her quite annoying. One moment she can be laughing and joking and the next she's growling and snarling for seemingly no reason at all.

Appearance: Quite muscular and somewhere between 3'8"-3'9" tall. She's got a light tan because she enjoys being in the sun so much.
Marks/Scars: Three parallel scars - made by large claws - on her back
Hair: Coppery, ends an inch or two bellow her shoulders.
Eyes: Light blue.
Clothes: Ankle high, brown leather boots. Brown trousers. A sleeveless black shirt. A black jacket she only wears during the colder part of the year.
Jewelry: None, not counting the temporary bracelets Branchwalker sometimes makes for her.

History: Dawngazer had a fairly normal cubhood with loving parents. Her cub name was Dawnhowler since she was born at dawn and made a sound akin to a howl after she had taken her first breath. But as she often stayed up late to watch the sun rise the other elves began to call her Dawngazer and she soon changed her name to that.
When she was about 30 she and her parents went on a hunt together. It seemed like it would be an ordinary night at first, but then a crazed bear attacked them. As they were out of sending range from the Holt Dawngazer was told by her mother to run for help while she and Longjump would hold the bear back. Unfortunately they underestimated the bear; it was mad with pain from some sickness or other and two elves weren't enough to keep it from attacking. It quickly killed both Longjump and Fall and had probably ended Dawngazer's life too if another, bigger hunting party hadn't come upon the slaughter. Dawngazer didn't leave that hunt unscarred though. The bear had managed to hit her in the back as she had turned to run and she's still got a few scares left from its claws. The loss of her parents saddened Dawngazer a great deal, but she was soon herself again. She knew her mother would have hit her over the head if she grieved too long and forgot to live.
More than a century later the cub Silence, later Branchwalker, was born and Dawngazer immediately took a liking to him. As the cubling grew older they became close friends, and after an accident that nearly cost Branchwalker his life also soul siblings.
On the day of the troll attack Dawngazer and her bond Stronglegs had left the Holt the previous night to go on a hunt and didn't get back until almost all trolls had left. She found the Holt in ruins and at once rushed to where Branchwalker and Sparkstone's den was. Well there she almost ran right into three trolls, who were searching the dead elves for valuable things. In rage she killed them and was about to run off looking for more opponents when her ears caught the sound of light breathing. She soon found the unconscious Branchwalker trapped under the body of Knife's wolf-friend and decided to take him to a safe place and look for other survivors instead of getting herself killed battling uncountable trolls.

Personality: A very aggressive wolf, but he has his gentle moments. He's very fond of cubs, no matter if they're wolves or elves, and is gentle when handling them, even if he can tell them quite sharply when they're too annoying or playing too rough.
Appearance: Large, with grey and black fur. It's very easy to see why he got his name. He's a very strong fighter and a good runner.
