If you play more than one character, it is helpful for other players if you make different profiles for each one of them. To do so, follow these steps:
- Log in and click on the symbol with the two cartoon people down in the lower right corner here on the forum. This will take you to a page that oversees your accounts.
- Click on the option "Link another forum account" link. And after that there is "create a new account. Name the account after the character you want the profile to be used for. You can start using the profile as soon as the admin has approved it (e-mailing or PM-ing the admin ahead of time is a good idea, since we do get spam accounts trying to apply for forum access).
- Once your new profile has been approved you click the same symbol in the right lower corner to switch between accounts. Make sure you only have one window/tab open while making the switch, or the forum will get confused.
- You are free to use the CIS pictures from the website as your profile picture (save them from the website and upload to the forum, or ask the admin to send you the website picture so you can upload to the forum). You are also free to use other pics as your profile pic, as long as it's a pic you've made or a pic whose artist is okay with you using it.
- If you want to write a quick dialogue between two or more of your characters, pick one of their profiles to post with. That said, try to keep your characters' actions to their own profiles, to keep things as easy as possible to follow for everyone in the thread
