careful and ready to struggle in a fight if need be, be peered slowly inside looking around her and within before stepping to aid Eveiningsky.
"Here, I have the leather pouch I made to help carry some of them. Let me lessen your burden and flee this place, please? Greyspear as said to head in the direction of home, we must run there now. Lean on me if you need. the others have gone on ahead already.**~
Silvereyes helped where she was able then lead the last of the stragglers in the direction the others of her tribe ran off in, back in the direction of Tall Tree Holt as Greyspear had ordered them to do.

As Tracker and Wasp had been fighting along side Eveningsky, they followed her into the tent. "I can carry two cubs if you need help.", Tracker offered. He had almost volunteered Wasp to help carry a cub, but then thought the better of it when she shot him an angry glare. ~**Let's just get these beastbloods out of our territory**~, she sent angrily, ~**Our people have suffered enough because of them**~

Branchwalker hurried over to Eveningsky and inserted himself between her and Tracker, doing his best to smile in a unthreatening way. He didn't even dare to look at Wasp - he remembered her earlier hostilities. "Thank you for your offer, but under the circumstances it might be best of only, eh, we who have wolf-blood carry the cubs. It's likely their mother is less than friendly toward outsiders at the moment, as I'm sure you understand." Softpaws probably wouldn't be the only one snapping at Tracker if he tried to carry one of the pups, but Branchwalker held back on saying such things. No more hostility was needed. "Maybe you could help carry water? We'll all need that and who knows when we'll run across the next water sources, right?" There hadn't exactly been none on their way from the forest, but who knew when they'd have time to stop? How far would the sick Children of the Oaks chase them?
Greyspear's lungs were burning as he rushed towards the tent were the wounded had been left. He was relieved to see so many of his kin readying for flight - he was less relieved to see Children of the Oaks among his kin. But now was not the time to kick up a fuss. There was plenty of violence to go around already. **Are we prepared to move? Is everyone accounted for?** he simply sent once he'd come to a halt. They'd outrun the sick elves, but only for the moment. They couldn't dwell by the tent long.
Dawngazer cursed as she did her best to help One-Edge balance Softpaws on Stronglegs' back while still running. It was a relief to come to a stop. Almost relief enough to distract from the presence of Children of the Oaks. Best to not start a fight. Yet. Best to keep that under wraps. **We seem to be missing some,** she sent to all with worry clear in her mind voice. They could of course be inside the tent, but there was still a niggling feeling that elves were missing that should be there. They were a pack under threat and they needed to retreat - together.
With a sigh of relief that nearly buckled his knees Branchwalker turned away from Tracker to greet Dawngazer with a more sincere, wider smile. ~**Soul sister!**~ were all he could send to her, along with the relief to see her alive and the urgency to get moving.

Cloudbird remained resting on Rockclimber as she and the others followed her sister to the tent. She watched their retreat, eyelids heavy. There was no way she was going to stay up much longer but they had to make it out. Her eyes lighted on Morning-Glow. ~**Come with us. Please.**~ She took shallow breaths to avoid hurting herself further. ~**It's not safe here, and we're going to need all the help we can get.**~ His soulname burned a bright light deep in her mind, and she left that plea hang unspoken between them. She knew they couldn't leave Recognition unfinished, but did he?
In response to Dawngazer and Greyspear's sendings, her mindvoice filled with pain, **I don't think we have time to check. We have to go, before they find us all here, or our fight will mean nothing.** It hurt her to think about leaving people behind, but it was a risk they had to take or they'd lose the entire tribe. She gripped Rockclimber's fur, the dark grey wolf shifting nervously as he fought to stay still.

OOC: If someone could let Sunsleaf know who (Hale or Featherfoot) is riding with her, and who is riding with Sureshot? Or if other arrangements are made. She assumed Branchwalker would ride with Dawngazer, but I'm not sure who is going to need 'transport'..
IC: Squirrel settled her bond-friend and kept her cubs close. She stroked their hair and chewed her lower lip. One of them would have to ride with their father but she was loathe to let either of them out of her grasp. Still... they'd been kept safe by the rest of the tribe even when she'd be separated from them, as much as she wanted to protect them she accepted that she wasn't the only one they could depend upon.
Sureshot looked around at the milling wolves and those emerging from the tent. He moved Trickster to the side. He was sure they weren't going to have enough mounts for a proper escape. Some needed to ride more than others and just how many of the 'others' were making the flight with them?
Sunsleaf ducked out the back flap of the tent and searched the milling wolves for her own. Whiteears came to her and she reached up to grab a handful of fur and leapt onto her bond's back. "Squirrel, get ready. As soon as I know who is going with me we're leaving. The others can catch up once we're away." Her gaze shifted to Sureshot, "I volunteered you for a passenger. I don't know which it will be, but someone is riding with you. If they hurry you can follow with Squirrel."
Squirrel nodded and looked down at her cubs, her hand brushed along Redstreak's cheek and nuzzled Quicksand's hair. Lifting Redstreak onto her bond she leaned in to Quicksand once more, "Ride with your father, sweetling. Someone has to keep him safe." Her sweet girl had grown up so much since the troll attack and in some ways it made her proud, in others it hurt her heart. She nuzzled the pale hair once more and then shooed her eldest into Gale's arms before climbing up behind her son and hugging him close.

**Thank you.** Eveningsky was grateful for Silvereyes's help. All of the cubs would not fit in the cut bag in her arms. The additional help of Branchwalker was necessary too. She was relieved to see her sister follow soon after her into the tent. It seemed her tribemates had almost all gathered and ready to go.
One-Edge and Dawngazer had managed to keep Softpaws on Stronglegs's back. One-Edge felt a sense of relief being surrounded by her tribemates. But it wasn't time for rest yet. Her arm hurt. She couldn't move it. She was panting, exhausted. But she would push on. ~**Longsong?**~ She could not immediately see him.
Morning-Glow and Evening-Fall had been the last to enter the tent. Evening-Fall remained by the door, peering outside, while Morning-Glow stepped somewhat further in with the rest of their group. It was when Morning-Glow's eyes met with those of Cloudbird's that he realized how close she was. Only a step away. And looking battered. Having that moment of not fighting, he could feel the burn of Recognition creeping up on him. Her silent words were light and heavy at the same time. Yes, she would not be safe there. He had seen enough Recognitions in his life to know what must happen. He could not let it pass. It would not pass. He'd suffer from this intense burning for the rest of his life.
It was evident that the newcomers were about to depart. Evening-Fall knew that would be the necessary thing to do, although it pained him to chase away fellow elves in bad shape. ~**We can cover their retreat.**~ He sent to his brother, the only ones of his tribemates that he could see in the tent and knew not to have agreed to go with them.
Before Morning-Glow provided Cloudbird with any answer, he received his brother's words. He turned to look at him. It was evident that they were locked in silent talk. ~**I have to go with them.**~ This message surprised Evening-Fall. He let the edge of the tent door drop from his hand as he turned to face his brother. There had been something in the sending that he had never felt from him before. ~**Morning-Glow?**~ ~**She saw me.**~ Evening-Fall didn't need to ask who as the sending itself was painted with the picture of Cloudbird. To think that his elder brother Recognized. And with one of the wolf-bloods. ~**I guess Palepelt's fears did come true. Good luck brother. I see you when you return.**~ Evening-Fall smiled and briefly squeezed Morning-Glow's arm. He then moved the tent door edge again to peek outside.
Morning-Glow returned to Cloudbird's attention. ~**I will follow you.**~
**It's quiet now. Go!** Evening-Fall called from the door.
OOC: I guess I'm the only one with issues in having my characters tag along. At least Morning-Glow is now settled. It makes a difference to me how my characters end up following the survivors so I know how to play in the future threads. That's why I've kept pushing these old threads.

"Sweet one", Gale said, letting Brownberry hold still next to Quicksand. He held out his hand to his daughter. "Will you ride with me?" He nodded to Squirrel. They would make sure to keep their cubs safe.
Hale looked around, checking who was where. "Will you not come, my friend?", she asked Evening-Fall, "It seems the newcomers can use all the help that's offered them..." Hale had already decided for her self that she would do all in her might to help out. There was however, one that may be able to help these elves far more than she was able to. ~**Waterfall**~, her spirit reached out to her foster mother. ~**The newcomers are fleeing, but there are still many wounded, now even more**~, she sent, ~**Please come and help them. I am trying my best to help out, but I don't have your talents and they are much needed**~
"Whatever you need most", Tracker replied Branchwalker and picked up as much waterskins as he could find, distributing them between himself and an angry looking Wasp. Yet, even she could not find anything against taking along water on the journey. And at least she wouldn't be burdened with one of the cubs. She wanted to stay as far away from of the beastblood's bonds as she could.

Silvereyes had been back and fourth several times, from the cut in the back of the tent for the wounded. she had seen several of her kin flee from there as well and he kept look out for them ready to strike still at anyone seeking to harm her tribe. She had made several bags, one for each wolf cub but only three bags made it through the chaos. She was glad, relieved really when she saw Eveningsky with the wolf cubs and several made it into one of her leather bags for safe travel. She was about to offer the other two bags but as the other cubs were handed off and still more Chaos happening with the other tribe tagging along and much more, there just was not any time left for anything but going home. Silvereyes paused looking in the bag at the pups she had and smiled, then she looked up seeing shadows still moving at the opening at the entrance of the tent for the wounded and she tossed the strap over her head resting the strap on her other shoulder like a sling bag. She reminded her self her bow broke earlier and she took a blade in one hand while the other was palm open against the bulk in the leather bag the was the pups. She made a mad dash as her Father leaves. She would not let him or the cubs fall. Not this day. If she were to fall she would hand off her bag to another to keep the cubs alive. Ooc: Okay, basically, Silvereyes is ready to leave, her life in tact and if anyone is still leaning on her, just know she is ready to go away now.

Quicksand gave her father a tight-lipped nod, looking far too serious. All her cubbish glee and mischief seemed to have drained out of her. She glanced over her shoulder at her brother Redstreak, who huddled close to their mother. That brought her some relief. Their parents would keep them safe. Eclipse came rushing towards the tent at break-neck speed, still holding Bloodcut's hand. His brain caught up with him just in time and he dug his heels in, coming to a sliding stop outside of it. "It's me!" he called, "and one of the other wolf-bloods." Panic did not help him remember names. "It's pure madness over at the gathering site! Are we leaving yet?" OOC: As soon as Waterfall has had a chance to reply here and sort out how she joins the group, we can all just make a quick post of "X elf exits the tent and flees" and then close this thread :)I'll take a quick look back and try to work out some "who rides with who" suggestions, outside of the already established pairs (2 elves per wolf at the most). Some might end up having to run, we'll see (and some will at least have to get off the wolves after a while, since they can't carry two riders too long a way).
