Player Name: Your name/nickname
*
Character Name: The name of your character. Most animal-blooded elves tend to be called something that reflects their personality (ex: Dawngazer enjoys watching the sun rise), abilities (ex: Branchwalker is an excellent tree climber) or appearance (ex: Bloodmane has red hair). Some animal-bloods and most purebloods and sea-elves have sound names (such as Riv or Kala).
Cub Name: Your character's birth name. Might be the same as the current name, but elves who don't have sound names might find later in life that their name no longer suits them and therefore change it.
Previous Names: Has your elf had any other names than a cub name before the current one?
Gender: Male, female or somewhere else on the spectrum?
Age: Elves age differently depending on if they have animal-blood or not. Animal-blooded elves tend to be considered "elders" by 500 years and don't live forever, but different life stages vary from group to group.
Soul Name: Not all elves have soul names, but if they do it's only shared with the people closest to them.
Race: At the moment we only accept elves as playable characters. No trolls, preservers or humans, but there might be in the future.
Origin: The name of the tribe your elf was born in.

Siblings: Write like this: Name of sibling (brother/sister/half-sister/ half-brother, deceased/free/captured/unknown)
Parents: See Siblings.
Lovemates/Lifemates/Recognized: See Siblings.
Children: See Siblings.
Others: Here's were the rest go. Furmates, cousins, soul siblings, etc. See Siblings on how to write.
*
Magic: Go here for info about magic. We're trying to keep magic to a minimum at the moment so unusual magic is hard to get. Of course, magic is not needed to make an interesting elf.
See list of current magic users here.
Skills: Anything you can come up with. Be creative! And no, listing "breathing" as a skill is not necessary. Well, perhaps if you play a sea-elf
More info here.
Weapons/Tools: What weapons and tools your character can use + if they have such with them or not.
Other Items: What's you're elf carrying around? A sleeping fur perhaps, some pretty trinkets maybe. As long as it's not a piece of the Palace, it could be anything.
*
Personality: What kind of a person is your elf? And how does s/he act? Behavior and true personality is seldom the same thing. Remember, a Holt full of only loners or overly friendly elf isn't much fun to rp.
Likes: Things your elf really likes.
Dislikes: Things your elf don't like or even hate.
Fears: The things that _really_ scares your elf. Most fear to do die, but unless your elf fears death above all things else, it's not necessary to list that here.
*
Appearance: Height, facial features, built, skin color, etc.
Marks/Scars: Remember that only elves born outside of Recognition can have birthmarks.
Hair: Color, length, style.
Eyes: Color, shape, size.
Clothes: What your elf wears during warm and cold seasons. Clothing material varies. Could be leather, could be mothcloth (silk) could be cotton. Just keep where the elf got his/her clothes from in mind. Remember to consider the weather where your elf comes from/is. If we're rping a snow storm when your elf is introduced it's not likely s/he'd walk around in a loincloth.
Jewelry: Can be made out of metal, gems, cloth; whatever your elf thinks of as pretty and precious.
*
History: What has happened in your elf's life before the start of the rpg? Doesn't have to be a whole essay, just write down what you consider are important events in your elf's life.
*
Bond Beast: (If the elf has one. If not then this information is unnecessary.)

Timeline: A quick overview of what's happened to your elf! The year the Tall Tree Holt fell is called year 0 and we use the regular human real-life calendar for simplicity's sake. Check out other elves' CISs to see how they've set up their timelines for ideas.
