OOC: Tag everyone! Children of the Oaks and survivors alike, come flee with us This takes place the day after the big fight with the "zombie" elves. Our elves have been fleeing all day and the better part of the night. They're most likely dead tired and just stopping for a rest now that dawn is approaching. There are no signs of them being followed. Date: 5th of March, year 0. IC:Dawngazer did her best to not fall to her knees as Greyspear called halt. Stronglegs had been carrying an elf more injured than her, so she'd been running on her own two feet for a day and nearly a night. Now that dawn's grey light was dimming out the stars she felt ready to go to sleep and not wake up for another handful of moon-turns. Branchwalker did fall to his knees, clinging to the nearest elf for support. "Sorry," he managed to gasp to the person he'd grabbed, his vision going dark around the edges. Treebreeze was running next to his bond Blueeyes, who was carrying Haze. At this point in their flight Haze didn't look so bad and he'd insisted on getting down and running along with the others a few times, but both Blueeyes and Treebreeze had been too stubborn to let that happen. Besides, there had been no time to stop and dismount. Bloodmane stood ready to help anyone who could use a shoulder to lean on. She was tired, but not dead tired. Funny that, she'd never been one to go for far travels from the Holt. **Does anyone need help?** she sent, eyes-high and not only for hurt tribemates. There were far too many of the Children of the Oaks for her to feel comfortable. Who knew when the next backstabbing would come?

Silvereyes fell to her knees bleary eyed and parched throat, but her duty was to her tribe. She had been doing her best to keep close to the others and protect the rear making sure to not let anyone get close or fallow for long. However, hearing her Sire send to Halt, she stamped a few yards stumbling to her hands and knees. She coughed and panted looking around with blurred vision and forced panting. Looking up at the sunlight brightening the sky, she sighed putting her blades away.
She started moving on her hands and knees crawling to each elf she could to offer water nudging some to see if she could wake them and only wet their lips with some water if they were still with sleep. She made her way to her Sire and for a moment her energy returned but then all at once failed her again as she fainted from over fatigue. It had been all she could do to crawl already. she passed out near her Sire Greyspear with the water skin held out to him but now spilling to the ground. ((She could wake up if shaken or something? if you need her?))

OOC: Okay people, feel free to post in this thread! After everyone has posted here we'll split up into smaller threads, to make room for easier conversations - remember to not tag Bloodcut, Cloudbird, Evening-Fall, Eveningsky, Featherfoot, Morning-Glow, One-Edge or Waterfall yet since their players haven't answered the e-mail yet. Feel free to talk to any of my elves

Quickly Eveninglight reached out to pick up Silvereyes' waterskin, before even more water could spill. "Are you alright?", she asked, panting. She and her bond had run and run. Like all others, they were exhausted.

Some elflengths away from the others, Wasp knelt down on the ground, gasping for breath. When one of the maidens, Silvereyes or something?, had approached her and offered water, she had sneered with contempt. "I do not share water with beastbloods!" A little while later, the girl had collapsed, Wasp saw. Perhaps she's dead, she thought hopeful. One less with tainted blood. When Wasp had caught her breath a bit again, she took a sip out of her own waterskin. See, she didn't need those others at all.

Somewhere in the middle of the group Tracker sat. The flight had been hard, he felt exhausted. He wiped the sweat of his brow and looked around how the others had fared. Many of the wolfblooded elves had been wounded. He had worried the whole long trek if everyone would make it.

((Ooc: I can't delete Laughinglizard, @sofia, please remove that profile so I will just use my main one for her. I thought I could remove it manual, but no opt for that :/ Sorry this has taken so long to be posted, several RL things happening after the other. Welcome back to the game play everyone. It's good to playing with you all again.))
Silvereyes could hear two people speaking to her. One then the other. Very slowly she raised to all fours coughing and trying to breath. He eyes were not clear as she struggled to open them to see. "Ev...Eveninglight? Eh, I feel spent."
Silvereyes replied rolling over to sit up. Her dry eyes sort of clearing. "I might be alright, She coughed a little bit more then recovered the water skin to wet her throat and rest up a moment. Her breathing returned to normal after a wale.
"Th...thank you for checking on me...Mmmm!" Silvereyes replied drinking from the water skin more. She felt so weak and tired and sore from the long distance full run then sudden stop and collapse. She pored a bit of the water on her face as she leans her head back splashing her face.
She then set the water skin with some small amount still left in it offered it to Eveninglight. "Here, if you need it. Is everyone safe? I mean, together?" Silvereyes asked as she rubbed at her eyes and held her head that was throbbing.

Without a word, Eveninglight took the waterskin from Silvereyes and took a sip, leaving some precious drops in it. She looked around. "I see many faces, but I am not sure if everyone is here. Perhaps we should send or call to check" She looked apologetically. "I have no strength for that now..."

Hearing Silvereyes and Eveninglight speaking, Dawngazer straightened up and began to count faces. "We're all here," she said, mostly to Eveninglight and Silvereyes. "All who weren't taken by the false High One." She'd decided that's what the tall elf must have been. Some might still have their doubts, but in Dawngazer's mind no High One would threaten a life. Seeing elves kill elves had been enough of a world turner for one day.
Taking a deep breath Dawngazer pushed off Stronglegs and said to the group on general: "We'll need to settle down for the night. Since we don't have tents I suggest we make a circle of furs, with the cubs and the injuried in the middle. Who can help me?"

In response to Eveninglight, Silvereyes blinked feeling weak and low on energy. "Maybe I could manage it, if others help? So tired. Ran too far too fast." the Elf maid said propping her upper body up with her arms under her as she looks around. Throat a bit dry and eyes too. It was not a good sign others seemed to be feeling the same.
Silvereyes looked up to Dawngazer as she spoke. Hearing of the Tall one, She had to look away and closed her eyes tracing in her mind all that had happened to catch her mind in recall as if she missed something she should have not missed. It bothered her, this feeling of lost~ness (Like when you go on vacation and feel an urgency that maybe you left the stove on or some other dreaded thing running, anxious). "Good, we all made it....Then lets catch a breath and decide what to do next, if we are able to, or was there a plan while I was unconscious?
Just then Dawngazer spoke up and shared the plan. Silvereyes looked over her own body and then all around and forced herself to stand, wobbly at first then steady. "I con help. Nothing fast, but I am able." She told Dawngazer. She looked the clearing over and managed to set her fur out and helped her Sire before looking to others helping where needed.
She stood looking and listening. she listened to Dawngazer for the time being, too weak to challenge her or to remind her Greyspear was Chieftain. At this point, Dawngazer was making sense and Silvereyes wanted to help. she wanted to find water too after the others were settled in but that could wait for now and she continued to help.

(ooc: I'm taking some liberties on the area, please let me know if it's not okay and I'll change it)
"I will help you, Dawngazer", Gale said, stepping off Brownberry. He helped Quicksand get off the wolf's back and then looked around. Nearby the ground rose a little. It was not even fit to be called a small hill, yet as it was higher ground it gave a good view of the surrounding area, thus being safer than where they were now. "We can bring them up there", Gale pointed, as he took Quicksand by the hand. "Squirrel, could you bring Redstreak?" He tried to sound surer of himself then he felt. The false High One -yes, it couldn't have been a true High One- taken elves from their midst... It had shaken him to his core. He could only hope they would be safe now, far from the Children of the Oaks. Gale looked around at the other elves. He noticed SilverEyes wanting to help and shook his head. "Rest some more", he said, "There is plenty to be done still, after you've caught your breath."
